Siena: Train station to Avis in downtown

Hi, we are arriving in Siena via train and need to get to the Avis rent-a-car facility in downtown Siena (Via Simone Martini 36). I have read that cabs may be tough to hail. What about a bus? Is it too far to walk if you are pulling luggage? Any suggestions? Thank you!

Jason,
There is a taxi stand to the right as you come out of Siena train station. There is not always a taxi there but one will come or you can call the number on the taxi sign. Avis is about a half kilometer uphill and across two busy streets if you want to walk.
