Hello --- Has anyone taken a bus from Siena to Volterra? If so how long did it take. We've heard you can take the Bus/Train from Pisa to Volterra but Siena looks far closer.

It's only about 33 miles from Siena to Volterra, however the buses go around the world to get there. There are no trains going in that direction. You might check if a guided tour if available.
We rented a car to see the region, and visited San Gimignano and Volterra in about a half day when staying at an agriturismo.
