Will you have a rental car in Tuscany?
If yes, drive from Siena to Sorrento. Take the freeway from Siena toward Perugia, then near Bettolle take the A1 to Naples and the A3 toward Salerno. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia and follow directions to Sorrento. It's at least 5 hours' drive.

If you rely on public transportation (i.e. trains), it's a slightly longer trip. There are several options. Go to www.trenitalia.com to see schedules. Enter:
from Siena to Napoli Centrale. Choose a date in the next 7 days.
The fastest options require to back track to Florence (which you could also do by bus) then from Florence take a fast Frecciarossa to Naples. The fastest you can get to Naples is close to 4.5 to 5 hours. Once in the "Bella Napoli", take the Circumvesuviana commuter train to Sorrento. From Napoli to Sorrento, it's a little over 1 hour with that train. So the public transportation option will entail at least 6 hours (if all planets align).

Either way it's a very long day traveling, therefore I doubt you'll have much time (or inclination) to stop in Pompeii along the way, but you can of course. You just have to leave early. The Pompeii site closes at 7:30pm in summer.
