siena to rome

Have been researching getting from siena to rome. Thought bus was way to go but some info says bus is uncomfortable and cramped. ( I also tend to get carsick). Been thinking
about driving to Chiusi, dropping off car there, and catching train to rome. Any ideas?

it would seem that either way works. You can also take the train from Siena. Most routes have you change trains at Chiusi. It's a regional train from Siena and only costs about 6 euro. With stops it appears to take about the same or slightly longer than driving .

If you get car sick, definitely take the train. There's a lot more room on the trains to move around.

I'm not sure where you got your info, but when we rode the bus it was very comfortable and not cramped at all. They're not spacious 1st class airline seats, they're regular charter bus seats. Once out of Siena the roads aren't windy at all, so carsickness shouldn't be a problem. A car to Chuisi would work as well, but would be more expensive.
