A couple questions to Italy travel veterans. We will be traveling from Siena to Arona. Question #1: RS Guidebook says bus from Siena to Milan is 4 hours. Does anyone have experience with this bus?
Question #2: Best way to get from Milan to Arona?

The best option is to take a bus from Siena to Florence.
Once you arrive in Florence, you will take a freccia (high speed) train to Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi
then transfer to a Regionale train that will take you to Arona.
