The best timing for our Siena day trip is July 3rd. What is Siena like the day after?

We are also heading to Siena the same day. From what I can see, the race track in the Piazza will still probably be down but there were photos online of people strolling around on the track like nothing was out of the ordinary.
Curious as to what others say about the day after Palio!
