Hi! We are planning to buy an Opa Si Pass in Siena which covers access to several sites, including the Duomo, Library, Museum, Baptistery and Crypt. We'd like to see all of the sites, however, the Museum visit mostly will be for the view. We will be visiting on a Sunday which means limited access of just two hours that day. The website states all sites can be covered in two hours. For those who have visited Siena with this pass, is a two hour window adequate? Just an FYI, we will be staying in Siena for several days, however, our plans only allow a Sunday visit of the town itself. Thank you!
Revising! Sunday hours are limited to four hours not two hours (1:30-5:30p). Would still welcome feedback and recommendations from folks who have visited these sites in Siena given Sunday time limitations. Thank you!
We have never used this pass, but all sites can be covered in the four hour time. Depending on the time of year you are traveling some of the sites might be very crowded especially the library, because it is quite small. We are here now and was surprised, yesterday, to see the long line to purchase tickets, although it did move pretty fast.
Thank you for your feedback, charylm ! We will be in Siena in a few weeks. I hope you are enjoying your stay!
