Looking for budget lodging for 4 nights in June for 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). We are planning day trips from Siena. We need parking. Need suggestions for places 125 Euros or less. We can be in the outskirts but don't want anything farther than 10 miles away.
If you have a car why not stay at a farmhouse (Agriturismo) near Siena?

The ideal for day trips to Tuscan towns and the Chianti hills is a location along the freeway between Florence and Siena. From Florence to Siena is a 40-45 min drive.
I sent you a private message.
We did a vrbo.com two bedroom apartment rental with two adults and two toddlers and it was fantastic. Balcony overlooking the church and parking accessible by shuttle. It was number 170163. Had a washer in the apartment and a line to dry. Little grocery store just a few doors down where we bought fruit and drinks to stock our packs.
Hotel Almadomus di Siena...we've stayed there before and it was a great deal! It's run by nuns and has spectacular views over Siena.
I stayed at the il canto del sole in 2011 for 3 nights and loved it. It's less than 10 miles south of Siena and the dinners are not to be missed!
Try Agriturismo Marciano. Just outside town. Easy drive to center city with parking. Just off Acqua Calda exit so easy access to highway for day trips.
If you prefer to be within walking distance of the Campo, Hotel Minerva is just outside one of the main gates and has covered garage parking adjacent to the hotel.
Hey, Skip - 'we' don't mention that agriturismo on the Helpline. Some of us want to be able to book a room there when we want... ;-)
At least Andrea has finally become a bit more discreet...I know what that PM was about :-)
