Siena Hotel Recommendation

Hi, I have search past posts and not finding many recommendations. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Siena that is either a 5 or 4 star hotel (3 star if nice) that is in city bc we will not have a car and would love to walk into city from our hotel. I have the Grand Hotel Continental, has anyone stayed here? Thanks

Try Palazzo Ravizza
Short walk to il Campo
Fantastic views from their terrace
https://palazzoravizza.it/

Please clarify what your needs are
5 star, 4 star doesn’t tell us much and the star ratings in Italy are not the same as USA

Booking .com is a great site for researching-use their filters for budget, location, amenities etc
Read the reviews-can only be left by those who have actually stayed so can be trusted
Book there or find the actual hotel website

There are some recommendations here-be sure to filter search by type and date

Giordino di Pantenento. Just wow. Very close to main Campo, excellent, lovely views to hotel garden and valley beyond. Delicious breakfast. Price was good in 2022.
Excellent staff. The garden was so inviting we had breakfast there each morning and took a bottle of wine and snacks out one evening to make sure we took advantage. The rooms have big, gracious windows out to the views. Highly recommend. We did not have a car. Trained in, taxi to hotel. 3 nights. Bus back to Florence.

I stayed at the NH Siena in August, 2022. The room that I had was beautiful and I really enjoyed the hotel for my short two night stay. It was a ten minute walk to the Piazza del Campo. There is a small park next to the hotel and the bus stop is about a one minute walk from the hotel. I would love to stay there again.

We loved Palazzo Raviza where we stayed many years ago -- enchanting room with painted beams and lovely views, but it s very pricey these days. We have also stayed at the nearby Athena with fabulous views from a high floor and wonderful bathtub (we are in Europe weeks at a time and often only have showers so this was a treat). It is less charming but a good choice. We also stayed in the Hotel Torre an old tower with a few rooms. I liked it but the staff left our passports just sitting on the counter in the lobby when no staff was there == anyone could have walked in and picked them up. I have never let a hotel reception keep my passport for registration purposes after that.
