Weekday schedules 131R busses leave at 10 past the hour. Sat ans Sun schedules are slightly different. The timetables are available at the bus station. Try this version.

When you check the schedule for the 131R A Siena to Firenze
You'll see the following :

• "Feriale Lun - Sab" = Weekday Monday - Saturday

At the bottom of the schedule you see various keys such as:

• L) Escluso SAB = Excludes Saturday

• Sa) Si effettua: SAB = Effective Saturday

• RAP = speedy route

Let's pretend you want to travel on a weekday (Monday through Friday) morning sometime between 7AM and 11AM.
Looking at the schedule linked above, you can depart Siena (on Via Tozzi- buses depart from Piazza Gramsci) at 7:10, 7:55, 8:50, 9:10, & 10:10 (see page 2 for this time)

If you want to travel on Saturday (from Siena to Firenze), then the times available are the ones marked with a "SAB": 8:10, 9:10, 10:10 and so on.

If you want to travel from Siena to Firenze on a Sunday (or Holiday), then you'll need to refer to the "Festivo" schedule ( see page 4 on link given above) and the first bus departs Siena at 11:10.

You can buy your bus tickets at the bus station a day or two prior to taking your day trip.
