Siena Duomo ticket

Hi

Q1
I read on this website https://operaduomo.siena.it/en/visiting/ the following sentence:
"Combined tickets are valid for three consecutive days."
What does it mean?

I will be visiting Siena Duomo when the flooring will be uncovered in early October (Oct 9).
I'm only interested in viewing the Cathedral (Duomo) & the Piccolomini Library.

Are these tickets e-tickets? Or I need to get there earlier to pick up the paper ticket?

Q2
If I chose 16:30, does it mean I have to exit by 17:00?

Q3
Is it possible to purchase the ticket the same day? I'll be flying into Florence, arriving 9:15am on a Monday, taking the train from Florence SMN to Siena.

Thank you

How many nights are you planning to stay in Siena? My experience was that I bought the ticket when I got there, used it over the course of three days, and saw the Duomo, the Piccolomini Library (which is within the Duomo), the Baptistry, and the Museum.

@Inbsig
I will staying 1 night in Siena (Oct 9) and leave on Oct 10.
I'm baffled by the time slot that I have to choose. I'm only want to visit the Duomo/uncovered flooring & the library. (I think €10 each person; we are 3 adults)
If there's no time thing then I can visit a bit on the 9th and maybe a bit on the morning of the 10th, the day I leave.

Which month/day were you there? You just show the ticket on day 1 and use the same ticket on day 2 & day 3?

Unless things have changed- there are several options. There are, I seem to remember, 5 things to see at the Duomo, The Cathedral itself (including Piccolomini library), the "Museum of works" - which includes the panoram viewing spot, The baptistry, the Crypt and one other that I cannot remember (Just checked - a rooftop tour which I've never done).

Last time I was there it was perfectly acceptable to just by a ticket to the Cathedral (and library), If you wish to buy a single, combined ticket for all 5, then you have 3 days to use it.

Email Response from [email protected] website link above

  • 3 consecutive days: that's for Opa Si Pass, not for cathedral/library ticket.
  • There is no limited time to stay inside the Cathedral. Once I'm in I can visit and stay. There's no rush to get out within 30 min.
  • Tickets from the website are etickets
  • I was also told that I can purchase ticket the same day of the visit, or if I want I can buy ticket directly on the spot once I arrive.

Thank you everyone.
