Siena, Chianti & Capri

Hi everyone! I'm doing a big Italy trip for two weeks with some friends this month, and are trying to plan some of it out ahead of time. We have most of Rome, Florence, and Milan figured out. We are spending two days in Siena, one day in Chianti, and four days in Capri. Any restaurant/wine tour recommendations/other activities for Siena and Chianti would be so appreciated, as well as anything from restaurants to activities that you recommend in Capri! (FYI- we are college students, so can't really pretend we don't have budgets)

Thank you so much

You might enjoy a wonderful, somewhat strenuous hike on the Sentiero dei Fortini, a breathtakingly beautiful hike from (roughly) the Blue Grotto to Punta Carena, where there is a lighthouse and a bus back to Anacapri. My husband and I hiked this path in October 2015 and met only two other groups along the way. Here's a link that popped up when I googled it: http://www.capri.net/en/e/between-the-rocks-and-the-sea-on-the-sentiero-dei-fortini

I would have been bored to tears spending four days on Capri, but there are ferries to take you to other places if you desire or get island fever.

Enjoy your trip.

Four days on Capri (5 nights?) Sounds like way too many to me. Even 3 days are a lot. Take a day away and add it ti Chianti.

Capri is an enchanting tropical paradise..with so much to do.. I have spend a lot of time there, for over a week at a time...but if you do get " bored" as some have suggested, I guess some people just cannot relax....LOL....then cut Capri to 2 nights then go to Positano by ferry and stay there or in another A/C town for 2 nights. As it seems that you are covering 6 cities/towns in 2 weeks from Milan down to Capri....that seems like a ton...so maybe staying put in Capri for the 4 nights does make sense! Anacapri offers budget stays and affordable restaurants. Surprisingly Via Roma in Capri has some decent not rip off restaurants as well...there is a supermarket at the bottom of Via Roma where you can stock up on goodies for your room....not sure where the supermarket is in Anacapri...but there are delis.
