There are rental car pick up / drop off locations in downtown locations and a city location. I would like to pick up the car as close as possible to the bus station, but want to avoid the ZTL's. I don't know Siena, so I don't know which location to choose. I would appreciate any advice before I rent. I will get my car through Autoeurope. Thanks.

Avis, Hertz, and Europcar are all outside the ZTL (none are inside the walls). None are close enough to the bus station to walk but all are within about a 10 euro taxi ride.

I used Avis (Siena) and was happy w/ the service I returned vehicle in Florence.
