I will go from Florence to Siena this Saturday morning and return Sunday afternoon. Can someone help me with bus times? Thanks
Linda,
I'm not sure how current this list is, but hopefully it will provide the information you're looking for....

If you have some spare time on the day prior to the Siena trip, walk over to the Bus station (close to Firenze SMN station) as they will have the most current information. You could also buy your tickets then, but DON'T forget to validate prior to boarding the Bus on the day of travel.
Buses run often between Siena and Florence. On a Saturday, you can just go to the bus station, buy tickets, and within one hour - you will be on a bus. Sunday, I would check ahead of time. Sunday, there may be fewer bus runs. The desk clerks at the hotels are usually quite helpful about this. We stayed in Florence just a few weeks ago. We took a bus to Siena on a Sunday. We just ate breakfast, strolled to bus station, got tickets, and waited less than an hour for the next bus. It was easy. Cost was about 8 euro per person.
Thanks. I guessed there would be fewer buses on the return.
