Siena bus confusion

We will be departing Siena on 10/01 to head to Venice. Following RS advice, we're planning on taking a bus from Siena (as the bus station is walking distance right downtown) to Florence and then catching a train from Florence to Venice. RS says sena.it is one of the main bus companies in Siena. While on their website, it does not list Tuscany as a region and thus no Florence as a destination (I know to try Italian names and no such luck there either). I did find SITA buses through sienamobilita.it which looks to be right downtown in Siena going straight to Florence; I am just confused as to why RS would not have listed this company. Has anyone used it? I'm fine with buying tickets once we are there, but I'd like to know what the schedules are since I already have my Florence-->Venice train tickets (yay mini-fare!). Thanks!

This is exactly what we did in May. We caught the bus at V.F. Tozzi station. I think it was bus route # 131 R ( for rapid or express). Bought our tickets just a few minutes before it left. We spent an overnight in Florence and then took the train to Venice in the afternoon. Bought the train tickets about 30 minutes before departure. Everything worked fine. Have a great time.
