My husband & I will be traveling from Rome to Siena for two days at the end of June. We are looking for a reasonably priced, nice place to stay in Siena - about 100 euros. We are trying to keep the price lower because after we see Siena we will be going on an 11 day Mediterranean cruise which we know that we will probably blow the budget. Thanks for your help! This travel helpline has really helped us plan our trip. We will not have a car.
The Alma Domas, recommeded in Rick's guide, was a fantastic bargain at about 60EUR per night. You can see how charming it is in pictures on Tripadvisor:

My husband, teen daughters and I loved it...the views from the iron balconies were breathtaking. It has fabulous character and will help you keep the budget in check after that amazing sounding cruise!
We (married couple in our early 30's) stayed at Albergo Cannon D'Oro last summer and thought it was great. I don't remember the price off the top of my head, but we didn't stay anywhere much above 100E. Location was great, just a few blocks off of the Campo.
Hello!
I stayed at Albergo Bernini, the hotel featured on Rick's Siena television episode: http://www.albergobernini.com/.
This was one of my favorite hotels of my trip. The rooftop terrace has the most amazing views of Siena, and the breakfast in the morning on that terrace is a great memory. Also, the hotel owner will play the accordian for you if you ask. They are an adorable family and make for a personal experience, I would highly recommend this hotel. Have fun!
