Has anyone done this tour before with a child in tow? Our daughter is 8. Are there similar tours you’d recommend?
We’d like to see a bit of Tuscany even though we won’t have a car. We’ll do a day trip on our own to Lucca, but this seemed like a good way to see both Siena and San Gimignano on the same day.
Go for it. It's not very far down to San Gimignano and Siena from Florence.
We stayed 4 miles from S/G--over by Certaldo--on an agriturismo once. The hilltown we most enjoyed was Volterra.
