Siena Accomodations and Wine Tour Question

Hello all,
This is my first post here on the wall. I was suggested to do so by a kind person named Wendy. She has been emailing me about the wonderful city of Siena. So here's are my two questions...
1. I want to stay at a Villa that offers cooking lessons (can be informal cooking pasta with the owner too), has swimming pool and is close to the Montelpulciano and Montalcino wineries. Do you have reccs? I am very overwhelmed and need help!! Also this is for first week in July and want to see Palio so need to book asap! Help!

  1. Do you know of any private tour guide/taxis that can take us to these wineries and a suggesion for lunch as well?

I just emailed Franco to getrates and availibility. I also asked him for advice on accomodations.

Very good! I am sure he will be able to assist you with a lot of good information. His tour was a huge highlight of our trip in 2005. Nice man, very knowlegable and so helpful.

He was very nice and replaied that his rate woudl be 220 euro pp with lunch. He seemed very excited to teach us about wines :)
