Siena Accomodations

I have an older RS Italy book so just wondering if anyone has any good recent hotel/B&B recommendations for Siena ~ walking distance to town. Thank you!

We stayed at this place on our anniversary visit last month: http://www.laterrazzasulcampo.com/en/
Several of the rooms have balconies overlooking the Campo, which is just around the corner if you walk it, so it's right in the center of things. The cab ride from the train station takes about 15 minutes and costs about 10 Euro.

Terrific breakfast (to order) and accommodating hosts. Can recommend it.

In 2016 we spent five nights at the very clean and comfortable Hotel Athena. It was located five or ten minutes walk from the Piazza del Campo. The property is first-rate and the staff is very helpful and they serve a very generous breakfast.

Buon viaggio,

Stayed at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza in May 2019 and can recommend it. Largest shower I ever saw in Europe which was a treat but not a necessity of course. Beautiful, quiet location.

Of the places I've stayed in Siena, I like Alma Domus the best. The rooms are simple, but the hotel is very clean, well priced, quiet and has a good breakfast. It's located between the bus station and the Campo, near the San Domenico church. Ask for a room facing the duomo, many of which come with a small balcony.

We stayed at Palazzo Ravizza as well
Had the garden room which is huge with its own entrance from the beautiful terrace
Fabulous views of the countryside outside of Siena

5-10 min to Campo

Also has private secure parking with fairly easy access if you need that
