We will be flying to Genoa in Occt to take a cruise and have some side trips that we want to take. 1) Riomaggiore/Cinque Terre. Question? Is it possible to check luggage at Genoa airport or train station to retrieve before boarding cruise ship so we don't have to drag all suitcases on train to Cinque Terre?
2) when we return will take train to Milan for a few days before flying home from MXP Any hotel recommendations for Milan? Thanks!!!

In Milan try the charming Antica Locanda Solerino ( Via Castelfidardo, 2 20121 Milan, Italy).. Not in the city center but easily accessible and in a true neighborhood. Or the Hotel Manzoni on via Santo Spirito. Ciao.
