Sicily villa romana del casale guides

Hello, Any recommendations for private guide? Thanks, Liz

The Villa isn’t that large and you’re looking at mosaics on the floor. Signs tell you what you’re looking at. A guide isn’t necessary, but I’m sure there are some.

Some “viewing” areas of the villa are raised walkways, quite narrow and can be crowded…I would try to arrive as early as possible.
Hopefully a guide might have some sort of early entry.

thanks for the replies. I've been there with a guide 4 years ago, and enjoyed chatting and asking questions. this time bring our son to see it.
YES, we plan to visit before closing time to try to avoid large tour groups - and it will be next month in April, so hopefully we will enjoy it without crowds. Makes all the difference.
