i have traveled italy but never sicily. what is the best way train or ferry. let me know. should we stay outside palermo or in palermo for the first time? should we get a car or do public transportation? need advice and tips. thanks, susan

susan, I agree with the previous reply, a bit more information would be helpful. For example, where will you be prior to the Sicily portion, and where will you be going after that?
