Will be staying on a few extra days in Catania after the tour is over (1st week Oct), any advice to share on things to do, restaurants,etc. would like to hit the ocean if weather permits. We will be staying in the same hotel as the tour, when it’s over so any day trip advice is welcome. TIA.

We stayed an extra night after the tour. Here’s what we did ; if you’re a Godfather fan take the train to Savoca. (S. Teresa Di Riva station). Lovely village. See church where Michael and Apollonia were married. Have lunch at Bar Vitelli - Took taxi from train station to village - We rode a little Tuk-tuk down the hill to return to station.
