Looking for insight on renting a car in Catania and traveling to Calabria via Messina Ferry and maybe spending a night on the Calabrian coast. Better to return to Catania or fly out of Calabria back to Rome for US return. No experience with rental cars in Italy as to return to same place or drop off different.
