Sicily - Siracusa -purchase tix in advance for June visit

Hi Everyone- we will be in Siracusa June 26 and 27. We want to see the Neapolis Archaeological Park , the Duomo di Siracusa, the Basilica is Santa Lucia and possibly the catacombs of San Giovanni. I realize we are visiting during the busy tourist season. Do I need to purchase tickets in advance for any of these sites to avoid getting trapped in long line?

Thanks,
Maryanne

No.
Siracusa and Ortigia were busy last May for our visit, and we went to all those places with no lineups at all.
Santa Lucia was almost deserted.
A lot of the guidebooks and travel sites still say that the Caravaggio painting is in a church in Ortigia, so I think people don’t go to Santa Lucia in Siracusa as it’s not near there.
The Catacombs there were interesting, they give you hard hats to wear.

Even if you don't purchase tickets in advance to see the archeological park, you might wish to attend an evening performance in the open air theater there. This year their festival is mid-May through near end of June. Here is a newspaper article from last year how I originally found out about it:

And here is the direct website for program and tickets. https://www.indafondazione.org/en/

Enjoy the planning!
