We will be spending about 24 days in Sicily. As a part of this itinerary we will be on Lipari for two nights. I'm looking for any tips for Lipari for sight seeing, restaurants, and transportation(bikes, scooter??) and inns. Also, we are looking for restaurant and inn ideas for Cefalu.
We like smaller, family run inns, moderately priced with some character. We like to be in or close to city city centers.
Jules, we had planned a month in Sicily 2020 and unfortunately we canceled due to the Pandemic. We were going to follow Priscilla’s itinerary in honor of “Zoe”. One of our stops would have been in Lipari. We had planned a day trip to Cefalu. All of our accommodations were lovely Inns & cancellable. I recall the host of our Inn in Lipari was very gracious & Priscilla highly recommended staying there. We would definitely book there again.

I have found a place to stay in Cefalu (Scirocco B & B for two nights) would still be in restaurant suggestions for Cefalu.
I found what looks to be a promising B & B just outside of the town of Lipari. I'm waiting to hear back from them and trying to find some transportation options for exploring the island.
We had 3 great nites in Lipari. Good little town for just strolling around. Nice harbor/quayside good dining options. I don't know about bikes but you can take the local bus around the island, ferry to othre islands..there is a lot to do there. We stayed in an Apt that Diana Brown had it was very nice and reasonable https://www.dianabrown.it/.

Thank you Brad. I didn't realize they had a bus on Lipari. I'm not finding much on Lipari in the guidebooks I currently have access to.
