We can go anywhere in Europe in October or November and would like to make a good decision regarding weather, cost, crowds. Considering Sicily or Prague. Perhaps Sweden or Greece.
Any thoughts?
Kathy; have you considered Southern Spain or Portugal?
One XMass we did the X Mass markets in Germany, then hopped on a cheap flight to Portugal. We were walking in the sno one day, wading in the water the next.
The prices in Portugal were downright cheap, no crowds, the freeways are awesome, and the people are friendly. I was the "ugly tourist" and never did learn any Portugese. Never had a problem. Southern Spain will be a little warmer.
We have never done Sicily in the Fall, but absolutley love it in the Spring. It is beautiful when all the hills are green. The problem with Sicily is that many things shut down starting in Oct. Check the link below:
