We are flying to Trapani in June for our honeymoon but have not yet booked a place to stay. We are interested in staying outside the city at town on the beach/coast. Since we will only be there for 4 days, we are looking for a place that will share culture, be easy to travel to and provide a beautiful beach. Thanks for any advice you can share!

Hi Courtney,
We stayed near Trapani and had a rental car. We did a day trip to Scopello based on our friend's recommendation. She stayed at Pensione Tranchina and really liked it! They hiked at Lo Zingaro Nature Reserve. We had a lovely lunch there but were only there for the day. We liked it enough that we'd go back to stay for a few days.

Check out Scopello - it might not fit all of your criteria but we thought that it was really beautiful! Four days might be too many as it's very small but you could use it as a base to see Trapani and Erice.

Thanks for the advice. I found a beautiful B&B there that we might choose. How did you get around? Car rental? Also, do you mind sharing where you stayed in Scopello?
