Flying to Solarmo, Sycily...staying for 2 nights and then renting a car..any suggestions on hotels in Solarmo? Also any suggestions on any other hotels on our trip around Sicily and any must see or go ahead and miss places around the island?

Depends on what you're interested in, of course. We love Greek and Roman ruins, so our favorites were Agrigento, Selinunte, and Segesta. We liked Taormina very much, and stayed in a hotel recommended in Karen Brown's book. Erice was interesting and had spectacular views. We missed Cefalu and were sorry, but it was Easter and the whole island was full! Apparently half the population of Italy goes to Sicily for Easter week.
