Sicily B & B's

Anyone have some good recommendations for B & B's in
Sicily? We saw one mentioned on Rick's TV show that seemed to be in an old monastery but I don't know where in Sicily. Thanks for any recommendations you might have.

Do you know what cities you are interested in seeing? Does it have to be a B&B, or is a hotel that serves breakfast okay? Example: One of my favorites is Hotel Posta in Siracusa. It's in Ortygia (the old town), near the bus routes to the new town, and in fact a free minibus (the "Navetta")stops in front of the hotel that makes a circuit around the island of Ortygia and then goes to the bus and train station across the little bridge. Breakfast is very nice and you can have it in the dining room inside or on a small adjoining terrace outside.

I can heartily recommend La Corte dei Angeli in Ortigia (Siracusa). Very elegant, full of antiques and our room was spacious and luxuriously appointed. www.lacortedeiangeli.com

We stayed in the RS TV show monestary (actually a former convent) It had to be be one of the best places that we have ever stayed; it had spacious and quiet rooms with great views over the Madrona mountains. The meals were fantastic. The Il Vecchio Frantoio is up the hill right off the A19 freeway at a wide spot in the road called Scillato. We also stayed at a Karen Brown reccomended agritourisimo/B&B out out side of Syracusa, (Limoneto) and loved it. Very simple and plain, but the home cooked dinners (an option) were wonderful. I would not hesitate to reccomend any Karen Brown reccomended property. http://www.karenbrown.com/ListRegionAccommodations/00000008/00000059/name.php When we are searching for places to stay we alwsy vett them with Trip Advisor.
