Shuttle service from airport in Rome to hotel

Does anyone have a airport shuttle service from the airport that they would reccomend? We would like to take one to our hotel.

Thank you!

You could use a Taxi, as I believe they have a flat rate to central Rome. I don't know the details as I always use the Leonardo Express, but I'm sure one of the others will be able to help.

We use a private driver who charges 55 Euro from FCO to anywhere in Rome. He will meet you outside the baggage claim/customs area by the big pillar that says "Meeting Point." VERY dependable.

The taxi is fixed rate of 48E for four people and luggage. Use the proper taxi starter.

By "the proper taxi starter", Frank means the official queue in front of the terminal. Ignore anyone inside the terminal who comes up to you and asks if you want a taxi. Those are illegal and are notorious for scamming tourists once they have their bags held hostage in the trunk.

An official taxi is 48 euros flat rate if your hotel is within the Aurelian Walls. If you tell us which hotel you're going to, we can tell you if it's within the walls for the flat rate.

I have taken the taxi for 48 euros four times without incident. The price includes "tip" in case you were interested. No need to schedule before hand. I stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen near termini. However, you can ask your hotel if they can arrange for a pick up. Some hotels will do it for the same amount of money.

For the last several years we've been using rome shuttle limousine and have been quite happy with their service. We learned about them from roninrome.com. Someone above also mentioned this service and we can certainly attest to that.

Buon viaggio,
