Has anyone taken the Seahorse Shuttle from Naples airport to Sorrento? Our flight arrives at 6:30pm. I'm also not sure how long it will take to get off plane, through airport, etc (not flying from us...flying from Venice, so no customs, etc)
Thanks
You'll save a lot of money if you take the Curreri Viaggi bus, which will cost you only 10 euros per person. There's one just about every hour. Go to this website and click on "bus routes", NOT on "shuttle". http://www.curreriviaggi.it/inglese/E_index.html
Second the bus. Easy, no hassel, comfortable. Naples airport is very small...you get off the plane, walk outside and the bus is right there.
Have a great trip!
Thank you!! to both of you...I plan to have a wonderful time!
Did this last month. The bus was visible even before we exited the airport and was literally directly across the street. Plus, the ride to Sorrento was absolutely fascinating: great scenary and a front row seat to the endless war between Vespas and buses. One thing: the bus terminates at the Circumvusiana station in Sorrento. How far your hotel is from the station could be a concern to you.
Not worried about hotel. It is a distance, but the manager has given me his phone number to call when we get in and will send a car! So far, I've had very positive experiences communicating with the various hotels and I only checked ones mentioned by RS. Great resource!!!
Just got back two weeks ago. We flew from Milan to Naples and then caught the Curreri bus to Sorrento. So easy! Pay the driver 10 euros, store your luggage where he tells you (ours was on the left side of the bus), and grab a seat. The Naples airport is small. You should have no trouble landing at 6:30 pm and catching the 7:30 pm bus to Sorrento. We caught the 6:00 pm bus and got to Sorrento just after 8:00 pm. (We arrived on Friday night, so maybe the traffic was heavy?) Have a great trip!
