Shuttle bus from Treviso to Marco Polo Airport

We are traveling by rental car on June 7th from Ortisei to Traviso to spend our last night prior to a 1:00 PM flight out of Marco Polo the next day, June 8th. I have read on this forum that there is a easy to catch 30-min direct shuttle bus going from Traviso to Marco Polo but I am struggling with finding out where we would need to catch the bus and the bus schedule. We will be returning the car in Traviso (Avis) on June 7th (Sun) and it looks like our only option is returning it at Treviso Airport. I need to identify where and when we would pick up the shuttle bus so we can look for accomodations near by.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't now about the shuttle, but I do know that from Ortisei to Marco Polo airport is only around 15 minutes longer than to Treviso.

If that helps at all.

Do you want to be in Treviso for something else?

No experience but I would guess the bus goes from the train station or the airport

@ Nigel; Do you want to be in Treviso for something else? ......Just to spend our last night somewhere instead of an airport hotel. We will have stayed in Venice at the beginning of our trip. Our original plan was to stay at the airport until I read on this forum that Treviso would be a nice last night place to stay, especially when our flight is at 1:00pm which gives us time. But for the life of me, my searches cannot find those posts that suggested it and the shuttle.
@ ChristineH; that is what I was guessing, just hoping to get a bit more info on it prior to booking an accomodation for the night.

on Treviso airport website it details the bus from the airport to Venice P Roma from whence you can get the bus to the Marco Polo Airport. It also details the train from Treviso station to Venice, which would also stop at Venezia Mestre from whence you could get the bus to Marco Polo. I see nothing about a shuttle connecting the two.

There were several threads 12, 16, and 17 years ago mentioning a "shuttle", primarilally for RyanAir passengers to Venice, not the airport. This old they may not be completely valid.

@ Nigel; You may be right in that the posts I thought I remember reading was very dated and they do not have the direct shuttle any longer, or I misread it to begin with. Will have to re-think if spending an evening seeing and eating dinner in Treviso is a good idea. Thank you so much for looking into it. @ Sam; I did run across the same shared shuttle when I was searching for that mystery direct shuttle.

In October we went from VCE to Treviso: Airport bus to Mestre..Mestre to Treviso. Trains run about every 30 min. Our flight was quite late but the connection worked fine. I don't remember the details but the bus option didn't work for us.

Updated to add:

Be sure to check the Sunday hours at Avis. I am not a fan of leaving the car at a closed office, It usualluy works just fine but it makes me nervous. That said returning to VCE or Mestre seems a better option.
