should we swap our dates and not stay in Amalfi Town April 23-26?

Dear Friends,

We are booked for 4 nights in Amalfi Town April 23-26. We will be coming from Salerno, where we are booked for 4 nights April 19-22.
Given that April 25 is a holiday and falls on a weekend, would anyone advise swapping our dates to be in Amalfi April 19-22 and Salerno April 23-26 to avoid being in Amalfi holiday weekend? We will be coming from Rome on the 19th and I realize it's much more efficient to go to Salerno first, but would make arrangements somehow. So far it looks like I can change our reservations in Salerno, I haven't checked yet on Amalfi reservations.

Worth a shot—it is fairly easy to get from Salerno to Amalfi, so don’t let that stop you. See ferry schedules on Travelmar website.

thanks. Do you advise we switch to avoid Amalfi over the holiday weekend?

If you can do so painlessly, I think it’s a reasonable assumption that there could be slightly more activity on the weekend. If it’s the slightest hassle to change, It probably won’t make a huge difference.

I agree with Valadelphia. Amalfi will be extremely crowded no matter what days you spend there.

OK, thank you. Still thinking about it. My thoughts are that it won't make much difference in terms of crowds
