We will be in Florence from May 2-7 and plan to visit Assisi for one day. We realized that the festival Calendimaggio will be in full swing during this time. While it sounds fun, we don't want to be in huge crowds, etc...has anyone been to this? Any advice? Maybe if we go on Wed before it starts? Thanks very much....
