Should I get the Roma pass?

We will be in Rome from April 20th-25th (leaving the early the 25th, so I won't count that day) so that gives us 1/2 a day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to enjoy Rome. We already have tours purchased (including skip the line tickets) for the Vatican and the Coliseum/Forum. Ideally we'd like to walk most places since our apartment is near the Trevi fountain. Would it be worth it to purchase a Roma pass? I keep reading good and bad reviews, so I'm not quite sure.

Since you have a tour booked for one of the most expensive sights and you don't plan to use much of the transportation part of the pass, you need to calculate how much you will spend without it. Booking tickets for the Galleria Borghese can be done in advance online, and lines are not terrible for most other sights.

I'd agree with Zoe: you have to do the math to figure if a pass is or is not a benefit. As you've already booked tours to the Colosseum and you intend to use public transit very little, I don't personally think it's the best purchase for you. As she stated, you won't need its skip-the-line benefits anywhere else, and you must make a reservation at the Borghese even if you intend to use the pass for that one.

It usually only pays off if you use a lot of buses and Metro, and visit at least two of the most expensive attractions.

Since you already have the most expensive ticket with your tour of the Coliseum/Forum/Palatine and don't intend to use much transportation, without doing the maths I would expect that it would not be a bargain for you.

Remember that the Roma Pass which used to be so simple and relatively cheap with two free attractions, free buses for 3 days and small discounts on other attractions was marginal to good then; now it is much more complicated depending on how many days you will have the pass, and the price has risen significantly.

Go onto the official website, see what things you definitely want to see are on the list, and see if the admission to the most expensive couple is more than the cost of the pass plus whatever buses you will certainly use during the validity of the pass (the transport portion starts the moment you take the first bus, tram or Metro; or the first time the pass is used at an attraction, whichever is sooner and both the transport part and the museum part run together at the same time (different from how it used to be).
