You might play with the order to minimize travel times. Venice to Cinque Terra is a long trip. We drove a similar route. We were somewhat surprised at the travel time (mostly due to a long time getting out of Venice). We stopped in Modena in the middle. If I had to do it again, I would stop at Bologna instead.
Are you traveling by train? If so, getting out of Venice will be much less of a hassle. If you are going by car, save time and money by following Rick's suggestion to park at Vincenze and train to Venice.
We were pleasantly surprised by Verona. We ignored the Romeo-Juliet stuff but liked the old town center, coliseum (we liked much more than Rome because it is still in use), squares, bridges, old city wall, etc. A stop there for a night might also keep your daily travel shorter.
