I'm looking for an apartment with a kitchen to rent in central Rome. I'm looking to spend 1 month in Rome. The time frame is very flexible. I'm looking to spend about $800 US. Let me know if you have a recommendation.

Sometimes the answer is no. This is one of those times. That's 600 euros, or 20 euros a night. I can't imagine you could find a sofa in central Rome at that price, even in the most off-season month of February, much less an apartment with a kitchen. I think you're going to have to rethink either your budget or your choice of cities (and countries, for that matter). Maybe a village in Thailand?

Maybe search small towns in Lazio: Viterbo comes to mind. You will be at least suburban and probably 40-60km out of Rome to some up with anything under €3000 per month. Lazio Explorermight have ideas for you. I suggest you contact him.
