Inside the walls of Lucca is expensive. Looking for a less expensive area to shop in Lucca. Any suggestions.

We’ve figured out groceries, and we don’t need furniture, we’re looking for clothing, good quality leather, shoes, etc.

You should try the street markets for less expensive clothing. The largest seems to be Saturday and Wednesday morning in Piazzale Don Baroni. All the markets are listed here: http://www.comune.lucca.it/flex/cm/pages/ServeBLOB.php/L/IT/IDPagina/211
