when i head to milano i plan on going suit shopping. now i dont intend on spending a crazy about of money. i remember once watching rudy maxa and he said there were outlet stores. has anyone been to them or have any suggestions of reasonable places to go shopping for suits in the fashion capitol of the world?

Certainly not in the city center, near Piazza Duomo! It's a good question, and while I don't have a specific answer to offer, I know how I'd try to find out if it was me: I'd email your hotel and ask them where THEY shop for clothes, or I'd ask someone on the Metro or the bus in Milano.

I have family who reside in Milano and when we visited them last April they took us to the outlet stores. The prices were discounted very similar to our outlet stores but don't expect any great deals. I'm not exactly sure where the stores were located in Milano but I do know it was a very short drive from their home which is located about 15 minutes from the Duomo.

Especially when whatever you buy actually costs you the euro price x 1.45 = the price you actually pay in dollars.
