I love Perlini's Silver jewelry found in Singapore. Since the original owner was from Rome, I was hoping to find the same kind of jewelry while in Rome & Florence next month. However, according to the website, they only have stores in Singapore! Anyone have suggestions as to places/stores to buy trendier jewelry at reasonable prices similar to Perlini's? Their website is really for trade customers - but if you are in Florence you should check out the shop. Right in the heart of town - close to the Ponte Vecchio.

I like to shop (a lot) at Torrini which is located just to the left of the Duomo in the Piazza Duomo of Florence. Its roots go back to 1369. Their jewelry is a little high end, but they have some great silver pieces as well. You might want to steer clear of the Ponte Vecchio itself as the shops there are very touristy. Nice to look at, but I don't buy there.
