We will be hiking in the Dolomites for 2 weeks, and then spending 10 days in Venice. We will need different things in Venice than in the mountains, but won't have the capacity to carry the extra stuff. We're wondering about shipping the extras from Seattle to our hotel in Venice. As we'll be hiking for 2 weeks before our arrival in Venice, there's no need for rush delivery. Does this plan make sense? What's the best shipping method? Thanks for info and advice!

When we plan to cruise after time in Europe, we use a service called Luggage Free. They'll pick up your bag from any location (we use a neighbor's house so it doesn't arrive at the ship too early) and send it directly to your destination. There are other services like it, too. Just shop around a bit and you'll find a good fit for you.
