Shipping from Rome to the States

My daughter will be studying in Rome for 5 wks. this May/June and then I will meet her in France for 10 days. I would like her to ship home the majority of her clothes/books before heading to France. Any thoughts on using UPS or FedEx or Italian postal service? Thanks!

Thanks Steve. I wouldn't mind paying for the extra baggage - I've offered to pay for a friend to bring it back. I just want to lighten our load for travelling in France.
