what does a single room economy shared bathroom usually consist of?...hotel alla salute in venice...
I see from their website (have you checked that out?) that this means: "The washbasin is in the bedroom, while the bathroom is shared on the same floor." If you're going to do a shared bathroom, it's really, really nice to have your own sink.
yes i saw the site...so the shower is down the hall or just the bathroom/toilets?
thanks
that's what i thought...just wanted to double check...
Also know that the single rooms are usually tiny, whether en suite or shared bath. And the beds are narrower than a U.S. twin.
I assume you are by yourself? Single is for one person, if you have a sink, a shared bath is no problem, well worth the money saved.
i've been to europe many times but this was my 1st encounter with the option of a shared bathroom...i usually look into places rick has recommended or has recommended in the past...was no biggie either way but just wanted the feedback...never assume...actually the rate given for a room with the bathroom was still a great rate so i went with that...thanks again for the info...
