My husband and I are flying Delta #186 from NYC-Kennedy to Venice arriving 9/6/09 at 9:40 a.m., and are looking for a couple of passengers to share a fast water taxi to Campo Santa Maria Formosa. PM me if you're interested.
The water taxi is very expensive and at that time of day there are alternatives. Take a look at the Alilaguna (I believe that's how it's spelled) on:

Roy, I don't believe the Alilaguna water bus will take us to Campo Santa Maria Formosa, and after a long trip that begins at 4:00 a.m. in L.A., we don't want to schlep bags from San Marco or Rialto.
We've done this trip before and plan to take the (I know, expensive) water taxi, so we're hoping someone who's going to the same area will want to share the faster yet more expensive option.
I checked the Venicelink website, and their shared water taxis are not running that day due to the Historic Regatta; it may be that we'll have no option but to take the Alilaguna water bus anyway.
