Share a water taxi from Venice airport!

My husband and I arrive at Marco Polo airport in Venice on Tuesday, May 31st at 9:10am and would like to share a private water taxi to either the Hilton Molino Stucky or St. Marc Square with another couple to share the 120 Euro cost. We can meet at the dock. Please let me know if anyone is interested. This is the easiest way to go but expensive! Only takes 30 minutes. Great if you can share the cost!

FYI: You can catch a taxi around to the bus/train station for $45, and it takes about 15 minutes. Or, a Vaparetto is $15 each.

With a shared water taxi, its 30 minutes to San Marco at least. Its no wake leaving the airport until well into the lagoon, and no wake as soon as you enter the canals of Venice.
Also, if the people you are sharing with get of at a stop before you do, you will have to wait some more while they get off.

The Alilaguna Blu line will also get you to Molino Stucky for 15 EUR /p, but is the last stop and will be well more than an hour.
Taking the land taxi to Piazzale Roma bus depot for 40 EUR or so, is quick, but the vaporetto does not stop at Molino Stucky, it stops at Sacca Fisola, still a long walk and over a bridge to the Molino Stucky. Just about as easy as a land taxi is the No 5 bus for about 7 EUR per person and takes about 30 minutes.

Thank you for the info on the shared taxi. Did not know about it! I will check it out. Would still love to share a private taxi, would only be 30Euro each with 4 people and is fast! This is our 3rd trip.

How are you going to coordinate with someone else flying in? What if one flight is delayed? Or if one party gets stuck in immigration or waiting for a suitcase? Is it worth hanging around the airport? You may save €60 but lose hours.
