anything is doable, it will be crowded and busy with so many people traveling and many wanting the amalfi cooast. you can look at how many posts are mentioning this area. it has become so bad with overtourism and it has been "ruined" with social media/instagram/tik tok
today there was a post by ekscrunchy from an article telegraph.co.uk on the subject. italy is busy all year long with so many traveling to the same places but people want to stay away from crowds!! LOL be prepared.
anyone and everyone that plans to be a driver needs to get an IDP (aaa.com/IDP) read up on all the rules/laws/ZTL's. the infrastructure
of the roads are horrible and traffic/parking is the worst. read up about the area, hire a tour company, know the do's and dont's, in the search button on top of page do your research.
do you have your transportation from naples to sorrento, do have hotels booked, know check-in is 3-4pm and check-out is 10-11am , i night stays does not give much time but it's your vacation. your stay is so short and many want to do so much in a short time, spending more time with transportation, checking in and out of hotels, morning duties, getting to train stations, finding new place to stay. good luck and enjoy
