I have a train from Rome to Florence booked on Sep 5, but just found out that there is a planned strike on that day. Unfortunately I am not on one of the guaranteed services. If my train is canceled, will the staff at the station be able to rebook me to the next available/guaranteed train or will they only offer refunds for canceled trains? I'm asking because I am debating if I should get bus tickets as backup.
