Sella Pass Summer Wednesday daytime closing

Just got this email from Trentino Marketing. The Sella Pass will be closed 9 am to 4 pm on Wednesdays in July and August to exhaust-emitting vehicles. Take this into consideration for your travel planning in the Dolomites. But if you have a Tesla, cut loose.

On Wednesdays in July and August from 9 am to 4 pm, the Sella mountain pass will be closed to vehicles that burn fossil fuels. Only electric vehicles, bikes, pedestrians, public buses and quarry transport will be permitted to use the road.
The street will be closed at the turn-off from Passo di Sella and Passo Gardena, after the hotel Miramonti, to Pian de Schiavaneis.
Thanks to events featuring great food, music and story telling about the Dolomites, guests can experience the mountain world with all their senses.
To avoid inconveniences, there will be new bus connections between Val di Fassa and Val Gardena. Every Wednesday there will be two extra zero emission bus lines. Every 15 minutes there will be two connections to Pass Sella. One from Plan de Gralba and one from Pian de Schiavaneis. Furthermore, there will be another bus, which goes hourly from Corvara to Pass Sella then Canazei and back.
