Rick references this online but I can not find it in my Italy 2010 edition? Anyone know where to find?? Maybe I am just missing it.
Thanks
Alex, spring for the 12 bucks and get the Venice book. It's full of extremely useful information. This is not a place to pinch pennies, especially considering how much you'll be spending over all on your trip. I've been to Venice and Rome twice (five years apart) and bought the most recent RS books for each city each time (and for Italy) and never regretted it for an instant.
It is in the Venice 2010 book.
So not available anywhere else? I don't think I will buy the Venice book just for that one chapter :)
Unfortunately, the tour that Alex wants is not available as a podcast
I would definitely buy R.S. Venice book. We have included Venice on Italy trips 4x in the past 7 years and still buy the current Venice and Italy bks. If you live near a Borders bkstore you can sign up for their FREE rewards card and get weekly e-mail coupons that range from 25% to 33% off. I buy all of our travel books and maps using their discounts. Very rarely pay full price for any books.
Check to see if they have the Venice edition at your local library and copy just the section you need.
Good Luck!
